Less than a few years ago, it seemed that most “fads” made their way down to the majority consumer by way of the celebrities, what they were wearing and endorsing. From the top trendy denim luxury lines like Rock & Republic, True Religion and Seven for all Mankind to the latest and all the rage collections; by Christian Audigier (Ed Hardy) and Pam and Gela (Juicy Couture). There were also the many labels started by confident celebrities well known for their trendsetting sense of style, such as; L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani, dVb by Victoria Beckham, The Row by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Chick by Nicky Hilton; just to catalog a few. As fashion enthusiasts, we flocked to the craze like bees to honey in attempting to mimic certain celebrity looks, either by actually obtaining the exact items worn by them or simply purchasing specific pieces from their personal designer labels. Yet now, with the booming world of blogging, it seems that the average fashion bloggers, “the non-celebs,” are actually paving out the trends right before our very eyes. Celebrity tabloid magazines are starting to lose their steam just as the daily Fashion blogging phenomena is beginning to take off. When rushing out of the house in a hurry, with nothing to wear and not an idea in mind, many are admitting to logging on to well known Fashion blog sites; nixing the idea of checking E! Entertainment or People magazine for the latest Celebrity craze. It looks as if blogging about your personal style is about to take the Fashion world by storm. And this is only the tip of the iceberg!
